About Me
I am a career artist, design professor and licensed K-12 educator, currently teaching Digital Art & Design within Durham Public Schools (NC). In 2012 I earned a Masters in Art & Design from NC State University, where I majored in New Media and Fiber Art. While at NC State, I held three consecutive teaching assistantships. I then served as Adjunct Professor of Graphic Design at the Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham for two years before my current job.
This portfolio showcases samples of student work and classroom demos I created for student learning of Digital Art & Design. My own design and digital art examples such as logos, layouts, and other graphics are used as first hand references for my teaching.
